The Indiana Behavioral Health Access Program for Youth (Be Happy)
Program Overview:
Be Happy offers free same-day provider-to-provider telephone consultations with a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist related to medication management, assessment and diagnosis, and other pediatric mental health topics. Be Happy is available to all health care professionals (physicians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, nurses, social workers, etc) in the state of Indiana at no cost. The mission of Be Happy is to expand the state's effective mental health workforce by supporting active health care providers who are often asked to assess and treat mental health needs with immediate guidance from psychiatric specialists.
