Wisconsin Child Psychiatry Consultation Program (WI CPCP)
The goal of the WI CPCP is to improve mental health care for children and adolescents in the State of Wisconsin. We do this by educating the enrolled primary care providers regarding management of mild to moderate mental health issues that arise within their practices, as well as providing timely consultation with child psychiatrists, child psychologists, and care coordination staff in order to equip providers with better informed mental health care options. This allows children and adolescents to receive care for their mental health concerns on a timelier basis, by their provider in their medical home with the consultative support from a child and adolescent mental health team.
