MC3 offers no-cost psychiatry support to prescribing health care providers who treat behavioral/mental health in youth and perinatal people in Michigan through same-day phone consultations to offer guidance on diagnostic questions, safe medications, appropriate psychotherapy and community resources. In addition to the phone consultations, MC3 offers support to providers via virtual and in-person trainings, psychopharmacology reference cards, resource libraries, and toolkits. Additional services available in select counties include school-based services to support school mental health professionals, emergency department services to support emergency providers, and perinatal patient care services to support pregnant and postpartum parents.
