Program Overview:
The Missouri Child Psychiatry Access Project (MO-CPAP):
• Builds capacity in pediatric primary care settings to treat/manage mild to moderate behavioral health concerns.
• Offers primary care providers almost immediate access to child psychiatry phone consultations.
• Supplies continuing care as recommended with community-based resources such as counseling and therapy.

Missouri also offers MO-CPAP Schools and the Maternal Health Access Project in conjunction with MO-CPAP.
MO-CPAP Schools
Helps school professionals such as school nurses, counselors, and social workers address the behavioral and mental health needs of students and staff through a peer-support model.
The Maternal Health Access Project
Supports providers who see perinatal and post-partum individuals in caring for the behavioral and mental health needs of their patients. MHAP provides telephonic consultations with reproductive psychiatrists, linkage and referral serves, and education and training for enrolled providers.
